Saturday Skateboards was born on April 20th of 2003. Owned and operated by actual skaters, we aim to produce the highest quality limited edition skateboards and apparel while striving to support and grow through 'core skate shops around the world. Through everything we do, we promote the enjoyment, adventure and growth of skateboarding. Our goal is simple - be original, stay positive, keep skating and never stop. If you're in the mood, read below about the minds behind the Saturday mission.

It's not just them though, there's a bunch of other heads like photographers, filmers, shop owners and a long list of other peeps we'd love to shout out by name but are too many to mention. You know who you are, and we couldn't have made it this far without your support.
Dave Collier - Head Honcho

Dave is the relentlessly creative and tenacious founder of the company. Back in early '03 he had a few goals in mind when starting Saturday - to make some good boards, give 'em to all the local skaters who ripped and inspired him, support all his friends who wanted to get involved and finally...to get the hell out of the "real" job he hated. From there he kept at it for several long years, calling on new accounts, collaborating with the team and artists to develop the graphics and about a million other things to make the company evolve on all levels.

Everyone says that starting a skateboard company that will survive is a real risk, but Dave is a gambler and loves long shots. Overall, he just likes creating a fun environment, supporting his friends, collaborating with Bill on creative development, drinking way too much Red Bull and is currently trying to quit smoking (yeah right).

Bill McRight - Art Director

In the spring of 2007, Bill McRight came on board as the brains and brawn behind the visuals for Saturday Skateboards. He makes his home in Philadelphia, PA but grew up as a nomad in the southeastern section of the United States. He spends most of his time drawing or carving pictures of monsters and mad men. He takes inspiration from a variety of sources: other artists, friends, street urchins, hand-painted signage, popular music and old time folklore.

Bill shows constantly, has had work published in several magazines including Swindle and Juxtapoz. In 2008 he received a fellowship from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Besides prints, drawings and graphics he has been working on handmade weaponry fashioned from junk he finds in the streets. If you want to see more of Bill's art go to fantasticlurking.com to see what else he has been doing.
Justin Britton - General Manager

Justin is a straight up O.G. Virginia lurker, pure and simple. He also rips and makes sure the team is hooked up with sleds, his skills as a wingman and bail-bondsman also help from time to time. Feel free to send him stuff anytime. He loves stuff.

Joseph Knight - Sales

Joseph sells our skateboards and adores cigarettes. More on him later. He travels alot so he's way off the reservation. Give him a gas card for his birthday. If you're a shop buyer and you're trying to come up on some product, definitely holler at Joseph. (email below)
